I've been to a lot of these. Billy's, Magnolia and the Brooklyn Ice cream store are particularly special to me. I've spent a lot of time in all three. Usually because of some special occasion. But really, anything can be turned into one if you really try hard enough. Often overlooked at Magnolia? Banana pudding with Nilla wafers. Another place I have to mention is the Hungarian Pastry shop on 110th and Amsterdam across the street from St John the Divine. Have a hot choc with almond horn. Man. I’ve been to a lot of these.
