Starting a huge dance party is tough if it’s just you and the dance floor, but confidence is always inspiring and this guy has it in spades.

Sometimes it’s all about not giving a shit. The video is slow at first, but watch the gradual build of the dance party’s momentum. This guy has done this before.

I have studied the master. Now it’s time to try this myself. Do you think trying this in the middle of New York City is setting the bar too high for my first attempt?

I have done this in clubs successfully and unsuccessfully in the past but dancing is already inevitable in those places. This guy is pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing!

I was at the Sasquatch festival, but I was down at the stage for the Santigold concert, which is pretty far down from where these people are. My friends and I all turned around and saw this dance party in full force and all began exclaiming how awesome it looked. I can’t believe that this is how it started! That guy is a true master of the art of dance.

    Brilliant, and oddly inspiring.

I couldn’t help notice the few people that didn’t join in- I feel for them. How could they not!?!

That was pretty cool, but how long was he dancing there before the first guy went over? Either way that’s a guy you want to have at your parties.

I was amazed and inspired, too when I saw this! But I had my doubts. So I had the chance to get responses from the guy who took the video and another person who saw the Dancing Guy before and after the swarm.
