Yawn! What’s most interesting is that his partner looks like him!

Why can’t more of the men who wear Speedos look more like that?

It’s actually more like 10% of the population.
They are so cute together minus the cigs they each have in their hands.

What I find really odd about this is why you felt this was newsworthy…nothing else to post today? It’s a photo of a famous gay man and his partner and it’s considered appropriate on Matador? You couldn’t even pretend to do some work and write a full post about it?

This makes me wonder why I bother checking the site anymore. While I appreciate the pieces that aren’t always travel related, this goes beyond that and delves into pure gossip (and lazy gossip at that). Since when did Matador become the new Perez Hilton.

    Hi John,
It’s Nights. We do pieces about hamburgers and music and toilet-themed restaurants and eating worms and bad haircuts.

I couldn’t pretend to do some work and write a full post about it because I am also a fortunate gay man and got way-distracted with Ricky’s speedo.

If Ricky’s OK with coming out to promote an upcoming book, I’m OK with posting a photo of him (although it’s really gross that he smokes).

The internet: Click on the stuff that you like. Don’t click on the rest. This is what makes it so fun.

Life’s fun, John. It really is!

    Tom

I was sort of surprised to find only the picture as well, and no caption.

I clicked on it because I consider myself an open-minded person and like to hear other people’s points of view. I understand that this is Matador Nights and all, but even in the other articles about said “hamburgers and music and toilet-themed restaurants and eating worms and bad haircuts,” there is usually some substance that follows or is incorporated.

I do not condemn the posting of the picture, nor do I really condemn anything. Instead I encourage you to next time provide some insight as to why you posted this or how this pertains to us as the audience.

(This is me trying my hand at constructive criticism. So, I apologize if I have not done that, and/or offended anyone, that was not my intention. I’m merely tossing in my two cents.)

    Cheers,
    Jared
