And it was free, free, free. I agree on the front of staying hydrated (have had a massive hangover as I got off the plane from having maybe one too many and then passing out for the second leg of the flight), but really, a glass of wine has helped me to sleep through the night on several rides that may have afforded me an hour's worth of sleep otherwise. Just like any time in life, we all gotta know when to say when for ourselves. Otherwise, cut the ridiculous people OFF. It used to be the norm on international flights, even for economy class (at least I thought). I remember flights to/from Asia, Europe and the states where alcoholic beverages were free. But, with airlines struggling nowadays, I'm sure it's something they've cut back on. But I did get a free beer coming back from Mexico recently! Dudette, oh yea.
