Jesus give the guy a break it’s a big world. He has to leave some out on a list of 10 when it includes the entire WORLD!

I have an idea, how about you make a top 10 list of anything and instead of having it include the entire world just make it one state. As a matter of fact I will even let you use Rhode Island as your state. Then I will beat the shit out of your selections, whatever they are, and make you feel like a prick for even attempting to make the list in the first place.

Gravity Bar aka Guinness Factory is an great place for a pint straight from the hops. It's unfortunatly not a real bar though since you can't just go there to drink all night. It's a tourist attraction more than anything, but well worth it!

Yes, there should have been Altitude 737 in Montreal. It's a crazy place. It's on the top of one of the tallest building in Montreal "Place Ville-Marie". It's on 2 floors, and there's 2 (or is it 3?) outside balconys to see downtown Montreal, the Mount Royal next to it, the St-Lawrence River and the best thing: all the fireworks from the Loto-Québec International Fireworks festival of Montréal. That's just crazy! It's classy, loungy and during the day it's a busy businessmen restaurant. There's also the top of the "W" in San Diego that I heard was completely crazy!

The Sundial Lounge at the top of the Westin Peachtree Hotel, it rotates constantly making 1 revolution per hour so you can see Atlanta's skyline without leaving your table. The waitress said that after working a shift it took a few minutes to reorient yourself to walking on a non-moving floor.

Was at Sirocco this past February and I agree, utterly amazing and deserves the #1 ranking. The restaurant is Italian and is surprisingly good. What is uniques about Sirocco is there is no roof, no shelter, nothing except you and the sultry Thai air and virtual lack of any safety features like railings. There are railing but in the US there would be a 10' high railing courtesy of your friendly lawyers.

The Sirocco looks sick and prolly the best i've ever seen. Most of these cool clubs are on hotels. You can find these hotels at http://www.RoadTripHelper.com RoadTripHelper.com is a web 2.0 meta hotel search engine that has more hotels than any other site. It searches over 30 sites to find you the best deal. It also has a easy map interface that plots all the hotels when searched by city, address, intersection, landmark, airport codes, or universities names. On the map is where you guys can find hotels in any particular entertainment district. btw the 737 in Montreal and Skybar in Toronto are alright as well.

i'm glad someone mentioned THC in Chiang Mai! A fairly new place in Hong Kong is the garden platform, or something like that, on iFC 2 - not on the top but high enough for some spectacular views. The best part is, it's public property, so you can get an expensive drink from the bar next door called Red if you're feeling lazy; or you can bring your own bottle of wine and plastic cups to enjoy a lovely venue without spending the cash required for HK nghtlife! There's couches and tables and even trees, so it makes a great place to relax with friends

I was happy to see Sirocco at the top of the list , that has to be my favourite rooftop bar ever ! Vertigo to me was more of a romantic quiet evening place , but Sirocco has great cocktails , scarily-low walls for that bit of excitement and the best view of Bangkok without going up in a plane. Great place !

This list has no credibility without the “Top of the Mark” at the top of the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco on it. The Standard is a nice place that deserves consideration. Also the bar at the top of the Marriott Renaissance across the street from Petco Park in San Diego is an awesome place to to take in the city and hopefully a baseball game.
