it’s cheap to stay here, but you’ll spend on transport to reach it and then you’re pretty isolated from things to see or do. the tuktuk ride from khao san ain’t cheap. all in all there are better deals.

best for ravers and hippies who take enough drugs they won’t notice all badly maintained it is, and who have no intention of leaving the building until they leave bkk.

Dave you are right about that and thank God for that! Nothing like it the world I hope for all Backpackers and travellers alike that is true. I look for an experience but not like this. Anyone that reads this just look at other sites and you will see what others say too. Good luck on your travels.

Worst place to stay EVER! Anyone who says they’d like to stay here is a tard! This place should not be on reputable sites and should be scrapt! They play there Music til dawn so no one can sleep even if there is no one there listening to it. The place is fit for a pig and even a dirty hippy likes it cleaner. Like this is Thailand it is so cheap to get someone in to clean, I think they are lazy unless you have money for them, then they are there for the pickins. Try it but make sure you have a back up for you WILL use it. Worst place EVER!

This place was an absolute wreck when we stayed in September, walked out after the 4th night and never noticed we did, this was triggered after an odd looking man opened our door (which didn’t have a lock that actually worked properly) stared at us, and walked out. A bit freaky. This wasn’t the only reason, for ‘Yuval’ to say that they have clean bedsheets and matresses is an absolute joke since the f**king matress on the floor was riddled with chewing gum. Only one toilet in the whole building had a functional lock. The place had poor air circulation adding to the uncomfort, the people here are totally deluded and need to f**king wake up out of this fantasy. If you come to Bangkok do not stay here, a nightmare to find and even worse when you get here.

This place is great because of the people that come to it and the people that run it. Intellectual conversations at 3 am, dancing , art. Sure it can simply be a place to crash for a night but it is also a place to learn and share.
