Te real one is commonly refered to as La Feria, which is in Sevilla and is 1 month after Semana Santa (most years it is in May). Ah, they are not called ferias, they are called fiestas. BTW Calçots? really? I mean, there are a lot better fiestas in Spain than calçots, actually, calçots is not really a fiesta, it's more like a tradition, like there is a tradition of eating "torrijas" during Semana Santa, or "turrones y mazapanes" during Christmas.As an example, you can go and check la tomatina, in a small town near Valencia, where people gather and throw tomatoes to each other in the main square of the town. Please, investigate more before writing, it's called documentation. And please don't tell me I'm wrong because I'm Spanish, if I know something about anything, it's about my own culture. Thanks. The Feria is where its best to have Sevillian friends who have casetas (cabanas) as the atmosphere is much more party-like. A three-course dinner with more wine, of course, was at nine (a little late for the Anglos and too early for the Spaniards) and then their Inglés would really get tested as many of us hung out at the bar until the wee hours of the morning.
